This is to inform you, as per the recent update from the operator, going forward, “Promotional Communication” will only be permitted between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM IST. This is in accordance with the latest TRAI directive.
This is to inform you, as per the recent update from the operator, going forward, “Promotional Communication” will only be permitted between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM IST. This is in accordance with the latest TRAI directive.
Please take a note of the following key points:
- Service Explicit (SE) Messages: The SE messages, which fall under the category of Promotional traffic, thus it must adhere to the new permitted window of 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM IST.
- Message Restriction: Any promotional/Service Explicit message submitted outside the allowed time window will be rejected by DLT platform with the following error: 651 - EC_INVALID_PROMO_TIME
This change will be implemented across all DLT platform providers. However, please note that implementation timelines may vary by operator (Jio 13th Oct25 and VIL 17th Oct25).
